This policy explains what information ThreadNest collects, how it's used, and the choices you have over it.
Account details you provide (email, username, display name, avatar, bio), content you post (threads, comments, messages, attachments), and basic usage data (like sign-in times and device/browser info) needed to keep the service running securely.
To operate your account and the nests you're part of, deliver notifications and messages, enforce the Content Policy and Community Guidelines, process nest subscription payments, and improve reliability and performance.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your private messages or content with anyone outside ThreadNest except where this policy or the law requires it.
Payment processing for paid nests is handled by Stripe, and uploaded images are stored with our object storage provider. Neither receives more than what's necessary to do their job.
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
You can edit or delete your profile information, remove your own content at any time, control whether your activity is publicly visible from Preferences, and request account deletion from Account security.
We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. Deleted content and closed accounts are removed from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records longer (for example, to investigate abuse reports).
ThreadNest isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If we make material changes, we'll post an updated version here with a new effective date.
