This policy sets the platform-wide floor for what's allowed on ThreadNest, regardless of any individual nest's own rules. It applies to threads, comments, chat messages, profiles, and nests themselves.
Illegal content
Anything that violates applicable law, including content involving the exploitation of minors, which is never tolerated in any form.
Harassment
Targeted abuse, threats, or campaigns intended to intimidate or silence someone.
Impersonation
Posing as another person, nest, or organization in a way meant to mislead.
Ban evasion
Creating new accounts to get around a suspension or a nest ban.
Spam and inauthentic behavior
Bot networks, mass-posting, vote manipulation, and other coordinated inauthentic activity.
Platform rule violations
Anything else that undermines the safety or integrity of ThreadNest, even if not listed explicitly above.
Every thread, comment, and message has a report option. Reports against a specific nest's rules go to that nest's moderators; reports that involve this policy also reach platform staff, who can act across the whole site — including removing content, suspending accounts, or removing a nest entirely.
Enforcement is proportional to the violation and its history — a first-time borderline post is handled differently than repeated or severe abuse. Illegal content and anything endangering a minor is removed immediately and the account is suspended without warning.
