What is a nest?
A nest is a community built around a topic. Anyone can create one from the sidebar — you'll automatically become its owner and can invite others, set a join policy, and moderate what gets posted.
How do I join a nest?
Open nests can be joined instantly from their page. Invite-only nests require an invite from a member; request-to-join nests let you send a request that a moderator approves or rejects.
Who can post in a nest?
That depends on the nest's own settings — most nests allow any member to start threads and comment, but moderators can restrict posting or lock individual threads.
Can I edit or delete my posts?
Yes. You can edit or delete your own threads and comments at any time from the overflow menu on the post. Moderators can also remove content that breaks a nest's rules.
Can anyone message me?
Anyone can start a chat with you unless you block them. Blocking someone prevents them from messaging you and hides their content from your feeds.
How do I change my email or password?
Go to Settings → Account security to update your password or start an email change, which is confirmed via a link sent to your new address.
Can I keep my activity private?
Yes — Settings → Preferences lets you hide your thread and comment activity from your public profile.
What does subscribing to a nest do?
Some nests are paywalled — subscribing unlocks access to their threads for as long as your subscription is active. You can cancel anytime from the nest's subscribe page; access continues until the current billing period ends.
